Cooper for Super
Hello, my name is Ms. Billie Cooper and I am running for District 6 Supervisor. Having been a community stakeholder in our tenderloin-district since 1982, coupled with my 3 decades of activism and engagement within our community, I have seen the “ups & downs” here; I have lived through them all, right here with you, as one of US. As a longtime survivor with HIV (since 1985), and as a disabled veteran, I have seen lack of residential equity and equality and wish to turn that around.
As your next District 6 Supervisor, I will not only stand for that residential equity and equality, but also for a new standard of excellence for low income housing. Having many years of activism here, I have helped to build bridges between our District and City Hall. If elected, I will continue to be your, OUR, eyes and ears and will continue to use my voice, and power, to advocate for fair and equal treatment of ALL our people. Let’s get this District back to being a cultural hub of one of the most diversely cultured cities in California. Vote for me to help enact a change for the better, so we can restore our hope.
